Why Voltcycle
A workshop that treats the battery as the main component.
Most e-bike faults are electrical, not mechanical. We test before we quote, so you find out whether a pack needs a cell, a connector or nothing at all.
Electrical and mechanical together
Motors, controllers, wiring looms, brakes and drivetrains handled in one visit, so a bike is not shuttled between two trades.
Nothing thrown out early
Packs that no longer suit a bike are rebuilt for lower-drain use where they are still sound, and only then sent for material recovery.
The Voltcycle sequence
Four stages, in this order, every time.
A lithium pack has a working life measured in charge cycles. Our process follows that life from the first diagnostic through to safe disposal.

Diagnose
Capacity test, cell-group voltages, BMS behaviour and connector condition, written up as a plain-language report.

Restore
Cell-group replacement, BMS repair or swap, loom and connector rework, motor and controller repair.

Re-use
Packs below riding spec but still healthy are rebuilt for stationary, low-drain duty instead of being scrapped.

Recycle
End-of-life packs are discharged, packed to the dangerous-goods rules and passed to a battery recycler for material recovery.

Scheduled servicing and repairs across the whole machine: brakes, drivetrain, wheels, bearings, plus the electrical side other bike shops send away.
Battery health diagnostics
Bench testing that measures usable capacity, cell-group balance and BMS behaviour, so a fading pack can be told apart from a tired motor.
Pack repair and rebuilds
Replacing failed cell groups, repairing or swapping the BMS, renewing nickel strip, wiring and connectors, then reassembling and re-testing the pack.
Motor and controller work
Hub and mid-drive motor diagnosis, controller and display faults, throttle and sensor replacement, and tracing intermittent cut-outs through the loom.
